Saddam feared Iran more than U.S ?

I wish saddam could handle them now. I think it's disgusting what the shiites did to him and all for political power. The shiites are no better than the sunnies but we were made to feel that they were the good guys being oppressed by the sunnies. They OPPRESSED each other!! When the shiites got into power, they oppressed the sunnies. They were both screwed up. We shouldn't have interfered. I feel like we (the public) were played big time.
