Who here is also a type one diabetic?

I think that suddenly there are so many more diabetics around...like its becoming an epedemic......I remeber being 13 and knowing no one who was affected by diabetes now so many children are being diagnosed! I went to diabetes camp when I was 15 there were so many people... maybe its environmental change? because its not just hereditary. i got diabetes when I was 2 years old. My dad did a family tree and no one! absolutely no one in the past of my family has there been a diabetic......then 12 years later my cousin gets it.
