Carbureted propane injection?

I'm thinking about doing propane injection on my carbureted car, in addition to gasoline, sort of like a nitrous kind of deal. Is this possible? Could i just put a propane nozzle in a plenum and just putting an electric solenoid to open it. Will this even add any power?
