Is objective journalism, in terms of these elections, dead?

Objective journalism actually died in 1895, for those of you who didn't know. Pulitzer and Hearst killed it when they learned that they could sell more papers by taking a side. Besides, it's not really journalism if you don't have an angle from which to approach a story, and that angle doesn't have to be liberal or conservative. You need a window through which you view what you are reporting on. And by doing that you throw objectivity out of the window, objectivity and journalism don't really go hand in hand.
